Delivery and installation is a service offered by “Appliances on Lakeside” to ensure that customers receive their newly purchased appliances safely and have them properly set up and ready for use in their homes.


The process begins when you purchase an appliance from us in-store. During the checkout process, you may have the option to select appliance delivery and installation services.


Once the order is confirmed, We schedule a delivery date that is convenient for you. This may involve coordinating with your availability. The time of day is determined once we route the delivery. You will be contacted that morning with a 3-hour window.


On the scheduled delivery date, a delivery team arrives at your location with the purchased appliance. The team consists of trained delivery personnel who are experienced in handling appliances of various sizes and types.


The delivery team will unpack the appliance and inspect it for any visible damage or defects. They may discuss replacement or repair options if any issues are identified.


The delivery team will move the appliance to the desired location within your home. This often involves navigating tight spaces, staircases, or other challenging areas. They take care to avoid any damage to the appliance or the property.


If you have selected installation services, the delivery team will proceed to set up the appliance. This can include:

  • Leveling and balancing: Ensuring that appliances like refrigerators or washing machines are level and stable to function properly.
  • Connecting utilities: Hooking up water and gas lines for appliances like dishwashers, ovens, and stoves.
  • Connect power cords and ensuring that the appliance is plugged into the appropriate electrical outlet.
  • Testing: Running tests to confirm that the appliance is functioning correctly and that there are no leaks or issues with connections.


The delivery team may provide a basic demonstration of how to use the appliance, including key features and safety precautions. They may also leave behind user manuals and contact information for any follow-up questions or concerns.


Many delivery and installation services offer an option to remove and dispose of a customer’s old appliance. This can be an environmentally responsible choice, and it saves the customer the hassle of arranging disposal.


After installation is complete, the delivery team will clean up any packaging materials or debris generated during the process, leaving your home in a tidy condition.


The delivery team often asks the customer to confirm their satisfaction with the service and the installed appliance. On all deliveries, please call to report any operation issues within 48 hours of delivery. Once contacted, Appliance on Lakeside’s associates will schedule a service call to resolve the issue at no cost to the customer.
